CSSC/HASSRA
X-Country
Wednesday
10 February 2010
On a cold Wednesday afternoon 30 competitors turned up to
take part in the joint X-Country event held at Stirling university, the course was
still up from the national university championships and a bit of debating took
place on the amount of laps the competitors would run. It ended up being 4 laps
for the men (5miles) and 3 laps for the women (3.75miles) this is longer than
the competitors have run before but they all had fantastic fun and showed you
don’t have to be a super athlete to compete at a CSSC event. The male and
female winners both came from the Scottish Prison Service showing superb
running in the muddy conditions. The results for the day are listed below.

A big thank you goes to all the competitors for turning
up and having a superb afternoon. I hope that they all go back to the
departments and tell them how fun it is doing CSSC athletics events in
